Teeth! Snow!

Today was a snow day for both of us, so we got to stay home and play with Kira. That was a nice surprise!

Kira has had SIX teeth for about a month now, and she's working on two more! Here are some pics from her escapades today that showcase those big pearly whites.



Kira and Jared had some fun rolling around in the snow. She has seen snow before, but she hasn't played in it. She was rather interested, but not delighted. I'm sure she'll have a blast next year. In the meantime...

Bathtime and Nana Patty

Kira lives for bathtime! Even if she's in a bad mood, it all disappears once she gets in the bath. She loves to stand at the side of the bathtub, looking in and watching her small tub fill with water. But lately she isn't content to sit and play with her toys in the water; she has to grab the sides of the tub and try to stand up or peek over the side of her tub to see what's going on elsewhere in the big bathtub (always nothing!).

I had to upload this video separately to youtube because of its length. Kira has been doing peek-a-boo for a few months now, but she has only recently started getting excited about it.

Been a while!

Wow, its been almost six weeks since I last updated Kira's blog! I've been busy turning my computer in to my advisor, finishing my master's, and starting a second degree accelerated BSN program. Now that we're settled and have the Internet back at home, here are some Kira pics!
